JoAnna Abrams, Founder and CEO
With over 15 years of business experience encompassing new business development, brand management, operations, and business strategy, Ms. Abrams bridges the gap between clients’ core business questions and market research findings to deliver actionable, practical answers. As MindClick’s thought leader, Ms. Abrams guides the continuous effort to maintain MindClick’s pioneering approach to integrating technology, creative, multi-media applications and research fundamentals.

Prior to founding MindClick, Ms. Abrams spent over ten years launching new businesses in the consumer products, retail (online and offline), and professional services industries. Ms. Abrams held executive positions in strategic marketing, new product development, and brand development for Nestle, Wolfgang Puck Food Company, and Taco Bell where her responsibilities included full P&L responsibility and oversight of business strategy, operations, finance, manufacturing and distribution. As Brand Marketing executive for Nestle, Ms. Abrams’ launched Fresh Baked Nestle Toll House which led to increased revenues of 65% across the entire product category. Ms. Abrams’ initiatives with professional service firms in the interactive, legal and accounting industries included launching new revenue streams for Arthur Andersen, repositioning the largest mediation/arbitration firm in the legal industry to achieve significant profitability, and building an interactive web design agency to over $3MM in revenues in its first year. Ms. Abrams holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a B.S. in Finance from the University of Illinois.

Roberta Berrent, Co-founder and COO
Roberta Berrent brings nearly 20 years of business experience in creative marketing, product positioning, brand management and executive communications to her role as MindClick’s COO. Her expertise in integrating strategic marketing, multi-media and research protocols provides MindClick’s clients with deep consumer insights and actionable guidance to maximize their market success.

Prior to co-founding MindClick, Berrent spent over 13 years managing the competitive positioning and launch of businesses, products and services across the entertainment, new media and technology industries. As chief marketing officer for interactive marketing solutions provider, Dynamics Direct, her programs for driving product definition and visibility saw the company from launch to leadership position. For 10 years at ABC Networks, Ms. Berrent directed the marketing, advertising and promotion of national television programs and global business services and corporate ventures. As an executive image-maker and director, she has worked with Peter Jennings, Barbara Walters, Diane Sawyer and President Bill Clinton. For three years at The Walt Disney Company, she served as chief writer and creative director for Michael Eisner, then CEO.

Ms. Berrent is the award-winning creator of multiple national public service campaigns and outreach programs on timely issues that include literacy, sexual harassment in the workplace and homeless care.

John Burshek, Chief Research Officer
John Burshek is MindClick’s market research guru.  His vast experience in qualitative and quantitative research and in the pioneering of new research protocols and methodologies have made him a renowned specialist in applying the optimal research approach in order to answer client’s core business questions. 

Burshek has been serving leading global consumer products, technology, financial services, professional services and multi-media companies for more than 20 years.  Widely known as the founding father of internet-based consumer web site satisfaction and usability testing, he has also pioneered new intellectual advances in measuring commerce and advertising success, product/concept feasibility, and price elasticity to help corporations optimize product development, brand management, and capital expenditures. 

As founder and CEO of The Arthur Group, Mr. Burshek created and developed the Customer Experience Success TM program and other breakthrough user feedback protocols, software tools and online testing methodologies.  As principal and chief research officer of NetRaker, Inc., he created the NetRaker Index TM, the NetRaker Research Analyzer TM and other ASP research tools.
